Gujarat government made a big announcement about the disconnected power connection 



The people who had been cut off in Gujarat were attached to the waiver scheme. Important decision taken by the Government of Gujarat for the 7.7 lakh cut-off connections in Gujarat has been taken. The consumers who had lost power connections, especially the amount of electricity bills were left, the scheme was announced for some of the connections that were cut off due to the power scam. Government has announced a waiver of electricity bill. This announcement was made by Gujarat Energy Minister Saurabh Patel
Energy Minister Saurabh Patel has announced a waiver plan for the permanent connection of power connections. He said that more than 7 lakh customers will benefit from this scheme. Under the scheme, the government will give a pardon of Rs 443 crore. Customers with a bill below 1 crore will get the benefit of this scheme. Customers will have to take advantage of this scheme in 3 months. 50 percent of the original bill amount for home use and farmers
And the interest will be completely forgiven. Thus, paying 50% of the amount will get the consumers to get their own power connection back. As well as businesses and commercial customers, the original amount of the bill has to be paid, and the interest has been waived. Customers who have lost the connection before August 31, 2017 will benefit from this scheme. Those whose power connections have been hacked, they can take advantage of this scheme in the next three months. Thus, the government is giving a power to the power consumers under the scheme so that they can regain their own lost connection. The plan will be implemented for the next three months ie, 24th July 2018. It is worth mentioning that the amount of Rs 150 crores, and 293 crores of interest is left out. It is noteworthy that the central government recently claimed that electricity has reached all the villages in the country. PM Modi announced it.
