Kumaraswamy sworn in as CM of Karnataka, several leaders including Rahul-Sonia New Delhi, (JnN). Kumaraswamy took oath as Karnataka Chief Minister He has become Chief Minister of Karnataka for the second time. Also, Kumaraswamy is the second person to take the oath of office in the last one week. Earlier, the Governor had given BS Yeddyurappa the oath of office to the BJP but without resigning the confidence motion in the assembly, he resigned.
With Kumaraswamy, the state Congress chief God also took the oath as Deputy Chief Minister. Many leaders and chief ministers of non-NDA parties are included in this function. Prior to the oath-taking ceremony of Kumaraswamy, there was strong rain in some parts of Bengaluru.
